11ft Huge Victorian Oak Antique Library Bookcase.
Dating from around 1840 this magnificent Victorian oak antique library bookcase is a gem! These grand library bookcases do not come to market very often so we are very proud to offer this for sale.
It has a break fronted moulded cornice above five glazed doors with arched moulding, each interior having three adjustable shelves. The lower section of the antique library bookcase has a break fronted top above five glazed moulded doors, each interior having one adjustable shelf. This stately piece stands on a moulded break fronted plinth, has its original back boards and is a gorgeous warm, light oak with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
Fortunately it does split down into several sections making transportation and positioning much easier than one would anticipate!
