An early 30-hour single-handed bird-cage clock movement, mounted on a wall bracket.

The 8-inch brass dial is of classic styling for the period; it has a silvered Roman chapter ring with inner quarter-hour track, a matted centre and the corners with well cast spandrels.

The 30-hour chain wound movement strikes the hours on a bell.

Original steel hand.
Overhauled and guaranteed for 3 years.
The Alum Bay Clock museum has a hooded clock by Thomas Sadler of Berkhamsted. He was accomplished enough as a clockmaker to make a musical 30-hour longcase clock, detailed in Darken & Hooper's English 30-hour Clocks.
