Movement – the gilt bridge movement has a lever escapement with a micrometer regulator and a capped escape wheel. The movement has wolf teeth winding wheels, gold train wheels and is signed “Patek Philippe & Cie, No 140173, Geneve, Pat Jan 13 1891”. The movement is in 99% mint condition – pristine condition
Case – the movement comes in a solid 18K gold case, which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The inner cover is signed “Chronometro Gondolo, No 140173, Patek Philippe % Co, Geneve. Fabricante expressamente para Gondolo & Labouriou Relojoeiros, Rio-De-Janero”.
The case is also stamped 18K and PPc on the inside of the back cover.
The case has scroll monogram on the back plus engine turning. The case has smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – light rubbing to the edges of the case on the engine turning
Dial – the white enamel dial has gilt hands and a blue steel sub seconds hand. The dial is signed “Patek Philippe & Cie, Geneve” and is in 100% mint condition.
The watch has a thick beveled mineral glass
The watch also comes in its original leather box lined with velvet and silk. The box is signed Patek Philippe & Cie”. The box has an insert with a removable lid. This reveals the replacement glass and spring. The box does have worn silk but an original Patek box is very hard to find.
