A related mirror was in the collection of Hugo Charles Meynell Ingram (1784-1869). Hoar Cross, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire who inherited Temple Newsham, Leeds, Yorkshire. This mirror shows a carved giltwood hound entered in the 'C' scrolls of the apron. A similar Chippendale mirror is now part of the National Trust collection, NT 509696 (inventory no.) Benthall Hall, Shropshire, (Accredited Museum) Midlands, England.
