A splendid example with its original gilt metal decorative swan neck handle on moulded hinged lid; the canted corners with boxwood and ebony feathered inlay, the caddy with boxwood stringing, standing on wonderful ogee bracket feet. The interior with its original three canisters each lined and with boxwood and ebony feathered inlay and stinging to the tops. A testament to the superior quality of materials and cabinetry, one can feel the air being displaced as each canister slides into its compartment.
Fabulous condition and patina throughout.
