A late 18th century Georgian mahogany hall chest.
The chest has two dummy top drawers with a lift up lid over two short drawers and two long drawers.
The drawers are oak lined and have wonderful original gilded brass Chippendale rococo handles.
The hinged lid has a moulded edge, the interior is oak lined and the chest stands on short bracket feet.
The chest is in good condition but has been modified in the 19th century and would have been deeper. (Circa 1790)
