A very fine and most attractive early-mid 18th Century Montgomeryshire Oak Dresser Base with moulded-edged top, typical wavy-shaped frieze and quite elegant waist moulding under three cock-beaded drawer-fronts being, unusually, in solid burr Oak. The four boldly-turned front legs are joined by a massive, capped stretcher having an applied moulding and retaining the potboard, and with square stop-chamferred rear legs. With only minor restorations and having an excellent colour and patina.
