Original vintage Cunard Line cruise ship travel poster "Quickest route New York to London and the Continent via Fishguard" featuring a fantastic view by Odin Rosenvinge (1880-1957) of a Cunard liner in Fishguard Harbour with trains at the station next to the hill in the foreground and smaller boats and sailing boats at sea with hills on the horizon. Fishguard Harbour and train station in Pembrokeshire Wales were opened in 1906; the harbour was a man-made breakwater that served as a dock for ferries and transatlantic ships; in 1909 the RMS Mauretania was the first Cunard liner to call at the new Fishguard Harbour.
Good condition, restored folds, small tears and minor loss, backed on linen.
