Original vintage travel advertising poster: Grand Central Terminal New York – The Gateway to a Continent – New York Central Lines. Fantastic sketch by the American painter, etcher and illustrator Earl Horter (1881-1940) showing a scenic view from the top of the staircase looking across the iconic hall - the main concourse - of New York's Grand Central railway terminal over the centrally located information booth and Grand Central Terminal Clock with people walking around the hall, train ticket booths and staircase, the sunlight streaming dramatically through the large windows above the balcony levels, with the text displayed below. Grand Central Terminal (GCT / Grand Central Station) was opened in 1871 and rebuilt between 1903-1913. Printed by Latham Litho & Ptg. Co, Long Island City, New York.
Very good condition, restored tears, backed on linen.
