19th century George IV period antique dining table. This table is made of mahogany that has faded to a very desirable golden brown colour with good patina. The legs are at the corners of each and and tucked away in the centre so that no one has a leg in the way. This table is very versatile, there are four removable leaves to adjust the length for any number of diners up to seat twelve comfortably or fourteen with two at each end. In addition to this the two halves of the table separate in the centre so that each end forms an individual console table. In this way the table can then be stored against a wall for a dinner dance, or moved from room to room easily. This also means that the table can be made larger than the measurements given here, if required, by the addition of a centre section and extra leaves without changing the originality in any way.
