A mid 19th century Victorian mahogany four door breakfront bookcase.

The bookcase has four glazed doors with four adjustable shelves in the centre section and five such shelves in each end section. The cupboard base has four doors with arched top mahogany panels and a single adjustable shelf in each section.

The bookcase has carved mahogany decorations supporting the flared cornice and moulded edge shelf. The bookcase is a very good original colour with some lightening of the polish and has later brass key hole escutcheons.

The bookcase is priced to take into account sympathetic restoration to the bookcase and replacement keys to be made. (Circa 1860)
