Snelston Hall is near Ashbourne, Derbyshire and the house was designed by neo
gothic architect, L.N. Cottingham for John Harrison, Esq. in 1828.
The estate extends to some 2000 acres. The house was built of sandstone and
brick with stone dressings, but was very largely demolished in 1951.
