The boat style mount displays a feature 4.30ct step cut natural emerald four claw set to the centre of the arrangement.
The emerald is bordered by eighteen individually claw set, well colour matched, marquise cut diamonds totalling 3.24ct.
The elevated, pierced decorated ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plains hallmarked ring shank.
The hallmarks include the maker's mark 'DOM', the 18 ct gold fineness mark (750), the international convention gold guarantee mark (750 and scales) and the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor).
"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."

The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with a clear set of hallmarks to the interior of the ring shank.
There is a minor chip to the surface of the emerald, near one claw. This does not detract from the overall aesthetic appearance, and the ring has been priced accordingly.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of emerald jewellery/estate jewelry.
This vintage cluster ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
