A mid 18th century Chippendale period parcel gilt carved ebony tripod table, having a circular tip-up top on a bird cage action, on a turned tapering fluted and counter fluted column with acanthus carved knop; on cabriole legs with acanthus carved knees, terminating in claw and ball feet.
