A Fine and remarkably complete model of a Bering Sea Inuit sealskin covered , one hatched Kayak . The Inuit hunter seated against a carved wood backrest wearing vestiges of a gut kamleika with a carved and painted wood model of a sealskin float , paddle and twelve wood and ivory harpoons , fishing spears and socket pieces

Collected in Alaska by W G Harding in 1900 on an expedition overland from paris to New York to demonstrate the feasibility of a great overland system
Sold together with reports of W G Harding's expedition and his personal bible
