A fine and extremely decorative early 19th century Coalport porcelain plate from a superb dessert service. The centre is finely painted with a basket of flowers with a shadow beneath. The border with individual panels depicting birds set within a deep underglaze green ground and richly gilded. Painted by William Hall. Impressed mark 2
