The arched foliate cresting centred by an eagle supporting a vase of flowers, all
flanked by festoons of foliage above a ripple-moulded cushion frame applied with
gilt-wood spandrels & containing the original mirror plate.
The influence of Dutch frame design is in evidence however the applied gilt-wood
decoration is a clear indicator of the Venetian origin of the present mirror.
