The Fruit Strainer is circular in form with a reeded rim and two scroll side handles. The bowl is pierced with an eclectic mix of beautiful designs. The bowl also displays a full set of hallmarks and each handle is marked with a maker's mark and Sterling Mark. The Aldridge's were specialist pierced workers and it is more unusual to find a two handled example.

Length, across the handles: 6.75 inches, 16.88cm
Diameter of the bowl: 3.5 inches, 8.75cm.
