A George IV presentation regimental ewer, London 1828, maker's mark of by John Bridge.
The ewer of lobed circular bellied form, with acanthus and vine leaf decoration, twisted vine scroll handle, the front applied with two Bacchus heads, hinged cover with a bunch of grapes finial, inscribed 'Lieutenant Blood from the Officers of the 16th Lancers'. The base engraved 'Rundell Bridge and Rundell, Aurifices Regis London'.
