Stamped by the makers Holland & Sons this burr walnut Davenport is a particularly fine example. The sliding lockable top with brass gallery, four internal drawers and hinged pullout quill and inkwell drawer, above slides each side over four long graduated drawers to the right hand side, the second retaining its original dividers; the whole sitting on turned feet with inset brass castors.
