The fine and large patinated bronze group depicts two Bacchanalian nymphs dancing, one with a tambourine, the other holding a cup and amphora. An infant satyr with a thyrsus at his feet, crouches beside them. After a figural group by Claude Michael Clodion, French (1738-1814).
