Original turned pearwood frame set in the original fish skin travelling case
The miniature is in excellent condition and although not signed shows the characteristics of Fyre’s signed examples—which are very scarce. Frye an Irish artist went to London where he befriended Reynolds. He patented a form of porcelain and became manager of the Bow china factory
