Constructed in a well figured and patinated Cuban mahogany, rising from pierced chamfered legs, conforming angle brackets, and terminating with block toes; the frieze and gallery conformingly carved with a ‘Chinese Chippendale’ pattern of lozenges and floral motifs, drawn from Chippendale’s ‘Director’.
