A fine St James’s scent bottle modelled as a girl in a dress with a yellow and turquoise bodice and flowered skirt seated against a vine and holding a bunch of grapes, gilt metal mount and rosebuds stopper.
A similar example from the Mrs Meyer Sassoon collection was sold at Sotheby’s on May 15th 1965, lot 20.
