A George II silver-mounted Cowrie shell Snuffbox, maker's mark only, Francis Harache, London circa 1740. The repoussé chased lid with a rural scene with rabbits and a swan surrounded by scrollwork. The interior of the silver mounts gilded.
Good with some wear to exterior of shell and some wear to edge of mounts near hinge.
