A George III mahogany pembroke table inlaid on the butterfly shaped top with a central boxwood paterae banded with satinwood and tulipwood and surrounded by boxwood and ebony stringing, the faded crotch mahogany divided by stringing into eight parts, with harewood quarter circle insets in each corner, the whole banded in tulipwood and satinwood, the two flaps similarly configured with oval satinwood inlays in place of the paterae, having one working drawer and one faux drawer, veneered in crotch mahogany, banded in tulipwood, the apron inlaid with satinwood panels with ebonized beading above, the square tapered legs inlaid with tulipwood and satinwood with boxwood stringing at the corners and inlaid molded collars above brass casters. Original hardware throughout.
