The rectangular solid mahogany top with gadrooned edge above a tapering column which terminates with an acanthus carved ring, on a tripod base with further gadrooning, raised on carved melon feet.
Although the present tripod is not marked by a Gillows stamp, it can be attributed to that firm as it displays many characteristics of pieces known to be by them.
