The Arms are those of Chetwynd impaling Petit, for Henry Chetwynd (1791-1885) of Brockton Lodge, Staffordshire, and his wife Mary Anne (d.1888), daughter of the Rev. John Hayes Petit of Hilton, Staffordshire, whom he married in 1827. Henry was the third son of Sir George Chetwynd 1st Bt. (1739-1824).
