The Bowl stands on a cast circular pedestal foot which is chased with a band of daisies and foliate motifs. The baluster shaped main body is also chased with daisies, roses and foliate scroll work. In addition, the main body is decorated with two Rococo style cartouches. The domed pull-off cover displays identical decoration to that on the main body, in addition to Rococo shell details. The cover terminates in an unusual stylised artichoke finial.
