‘Highland Cattle Watering at a Loch’ and ‘A Highland Landscape with Cattle Homeward Bound’. Signed William Langley and mounted in gilt frames. William Langley was a prolific and highly accomplished painter of the landscape and cattle of the Scottish Highlands and was commissioned by several galleries and art dealers in the area to meet popular demand for such paintings. His work is represented in museums and art gallery collections around the UK including Hull, Sheffield, Canterbury and Nuneaton.
