Thomas Whipham & Charles Wright had a reputation for making fine hollow ware and their workshops were located in Ave Mary Lane. Thomas Whipham held an important position within his trade, as he was Warden 1765-67 and Prime Warden, 1771, of the Goldsmith's Company.
