A fine & relatively early Corniche cased Grande Sonnerie carriage clock. The eight-day duration movement is stamped with the serial number '611', with Grande-Sonnerie striking (the quarters and the hours on each quarter) on two bells, with push repeat and alarm. To the base is the lever to change the strike operation from 'Silence, 'Pte Sonnerie or 'Gte. Sonnerie. The white enamel dial has black Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary alarm dial and blued steel moon hands.
The Corniche case has a fluted handle of elegant style.
