A highly important eight light cut glass ormolu mounted George III chandelier by William Parker the multi-baluster stem centred by a covered urn and supporting a drop hung canopy terminating with a urn shaped top piece .The main receiver plate supporting eight notched candle arms terminating with drop hung van dyke drip pans and notched candle nozzles these candle arms are separated by eight notched snakes suspending chains of drapery . The receiver bowl surmounted by a drop hung canopy terminating with a lapidary cut finial; all hung with chains of pear shaped drops and round finials of the finest quality throughout chandeliers of this type are extremely rare.
