Two volumes complete - Volume One - xiv, , xxv, , 275pp,  and Volume Two - , 262pp, . Full contemporary straight grain morocco, semi-raised bands, spines in five panels, title in gilt to second panel, volume number to fourth, remaining panels filled with foliate and volute tooling in gilt, covers with wide foliate and volute border again in gilt, a.e.g. Rebacked with original spines laid on, rubbed to extremities, some darkening to spines, gilt to spines dulled. Internally some light foxing to text, plates with some marginal soiling and off-setting onto text, though no off-setting from text onto plates. Ex-library (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), with their library plate to front endpapers. Lacks half-titles, with list of subscribers. Uncoloured engraved portrait of Lord Grenville, and one hundred and fourteen plates, including the thirty-three founders plates, all hand-coloured aquatints or stipple-engravings by Bluck, Stadler, Hill and others after Pugin, Westall, Mackenzie and others.
