A Kingwood, Tulipwood, Parquetry and Gilt-Bronze Mounted Centre Table, attributed to François Linke.

The circular parquetry top of diapered trellis with gilt-bronze edging above a similar frieze with finely cast gilt bronze mounts of female masks framed by cornucopia and trailing flowers and enclosing a central drawer; the whole raised on slender cabriole legs with foliate mounts, the legs united by a hipped undertier with central pierced gilt-bronze basket.

The quality of this centre table and the use of mounts identical to those found on signed and documented examples indicate almost certainly François Linke as the maker. [For a similar signed example, please see Adrian Alan ref: B64750].
