A pair of late 19th century William Kent Revival pier mirrors, the carved and painted 'kit-kat' frames set with rosettes and retaining the original bevelled mirror plates.

This pair of mirrors is heavily influenced by Palladian architecture which was brought to the United Kingdom by William Kent. A firm believer in the rational of Classical architecture, Kent based his creations (ranging from buildings and furniture to gardens and fashion) on the Roman principles of order and symmetry; which can be observed beautifully in these Kent revival mirrors.
