A fine late 18th Louis XVI century circular gueridon table, the polished ebonised oak top with pierced brass gallery raised on a faceted stem in the form of a doric column set into a circular plinth with a string of polished brass beading and panels of brass between the legs, the column inlaid with polished brass flutes within boarders of purple heart wood and mahogany between ebony flutes, the whole supported on three S scrolled and brass mounted legs, each mounted with tapering brass flutes, terminating in block feet .
