The drum shaped ormolu clock case which is surmounted by a figure of Bacchante is suspended
between cupids sitting on seated goats eating grapes. The white enamel dial with Arabic numerals is
signed Maniere a Paris. Resting on a white marble base decorated with ormolu above six shaped

A similar clock is illustrated in Encyclopedie de La Pendule Francais from Maurice Segoura and another is in the Musee du Petit Palais in Paris.
