By Baur & Cie.
Designed in the manner of Adam Weisweiler this fine vitrine is of trapezoid form, with a pierced gilt-bronze three-quarter galleried top above a glazed bevelled door flanked to the uprights on each side by female caryatids, with corresponding glazed bevelled sides, the interior fitted with a mirrored back and a pair of glass shelves above a frieze drawer. The vitrine is raised on fluted tapering legs, united by an undertier, and toupie feet.
