The top made from two pieces of walnut with cleated ends, unusually retaining its original, iron fasteners. The leaves likewise. The deep frieze is unusually faced with a ripple moulding. The table stands on bold, ring turned legs which are joined by wide, rectangular stretchers. On original bun feet. Excellent original colour and patina. Northern European, probably Flemish.
