The drawing for the ‘Prince’s Pattern’ was developed by Richard Gillow in London and sent to Robert Gillow in Lancaster. It is preserved in the Westminster Archive in London.
Gillows produced the Prince’s Pattern chairs in painted beechwood, in mahogany and in exotic satinwood, which was the rarest and most expensive version.
