Each of slender octagonal baluster form, painted with shaped panels enclosing ladies at leisure in classical Chinese garden landscapes, one group playing Wei Qi (Chinese Chess) within pink flower head borders and stylised chrysanthemum flower heads on a turquoise diaper ground, the necks playfully painted with young boys at play, one with a rabbit, another lighting a fire cracker, the domed covers with ladies seated before rock work, all surmounted by lion-dog knops, picked out in cold painted enamels and gilt.
