Item Description / Dealer Expertise

A pair of Empire mahogany fauteuils having square backs surmounted by a bound reeded moulding. The arms are of gun barrel form with scroll supports enriched with carved foliate decoration. The front leg is of turned tapering outline with low relief laurel and neoclassical foliate patera. The rails are carved with recessed panels.
