A novelty Cayenne Pepper Pot and a Pepper Pot, Saunders and Shepherd, Chester, 1901 and 1906, each formed as a toy soldier. The cayenne pot struck with a registered design mark 367703.
Saunders and Shepherd produced a range of novelty pots formed as rocking horses, soldiers, suffragettes, Scotsmen etc.
