, set in the original bracelet clasp frame with garnet border.

Vispre was born in Besancon and worked in Paris from 1750. In 1756 he published the startlingly entitled Methode pour Devenir Peintre en Trois Heures. He went to London in 1760, where he painted in oils and also worked as a miniaturist. In 1766 he settled in Ireland and remained in Dublin until 1780.
