A William IV ascos jug, London 1835, maker's mark of Paul Storr. Modeled as an ascos jug, on plain ring foot, the handle cast with foliage and winged figure, with two cast goat finial, the body with matting engraved with two crests below an earl's coronet, marked near rim, the foot further stamped 'Storr & Mortimer 356'
The crests are those of McConnell and Kerr as borne by the Earls of Antrim, probably for Hugh, 4th Earl of Antrim (1812-1855).
