The Jug is of typical Irish design and stands on three hoof feet, which are attached to the main body with lion mask mouldings. This example has an applied reeded girdle around the centre of the main body and a pronounced pouring spout. The Jug has a leaf capped scroll handle. The Jug is marked on the side of the main body and the base of each foot is engraved with a contemporary initial. This piece is of an excellent gauge and has a very good colour.

Height: 4.5 inches, 11.25cm.
Length, spout to handle: 6.25 inches, 15.63cm.
Weight: 9oz.
