Painted in smoky tones of underglaze-blue with a pair of pheasants perched on a rocky mound beneath a gnarled pine tree with lingzhi-inspired swirling clouds, all within a shaped panelled border containing birds, flowers and insects, the underside with a moulded border with petal-shaped panels containing alternating lingzhi sprigs and bees, the centre with the rare egret mark.
