The Butter Knife is plain in design and modelled in the fiddle pattern, with a shaped side to the blade. The top of the stem is engraved with a contemporary Crest issuing from the Coronet of a Duke. The knife is is excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse. Irish Butter Knives are especially scarce, this being the first Georgian example we have offered.

Length: 8 inches, 20cm.
