The Teaspoons are modelled in the Hanoverian pattern and the reverse of the bowls are decorated with crisp Rococo shells, surrounded by scroll work. The top of the stems are not engraved, however there are no signs at all of erasure. Most unusually, the front of the stems are decorated with a crisp cherub, holding flowers, possibly Cupid. The figure is wearing a drapery robe and is surrounded by a scroll and flower frame. This is a most unusual design and each is well marked with the sterling mark and cruciform mark of these specialist spoon makers, who had workshops at 60, Pasternoster Row, when these spoons were made. Each is in excellent condition and has a good colour.

Length: 4.45 inches, 11.13cm.
